Beginning Wednesday at 7 p.m., the center lane of I-40 eastbound will be closed from Bolton Street east to Lakeside Drive for nighttime work removing the temporary concrete barrier, the right lane is currently closed.
On I-40 westbound, the center lane will be closed from Airport Boulevard to Eastern Street to set a temporary concrete barrier, the left lane is currently closed.
Local traffic is encouraged to find alternate routes as the work will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction until Thursday at 6 a.m. The ramps will remain open during this work.
