Use Of Stolen Credit Card Gets Suspect Busted

Borger Police busted a burglary suspect after they said he used a credit card stolen during the burglary at a convenience store.

On Sunday, Borger police were dispatched to a home where multiple items were stolen during a burglary.

One of the items, a credit card, was used at a local convenience store, Officers then obtained surveillance video of the transaction with the stolen card and identified the suspect’s vehicle.

The vehicle was located at a home in Borger where Police recovered a stolen handgun and the stolen credit card and they also seized methamphetamine.

Nathan Lee Allen, 32, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, theft of a firearm, and fraudulent use/possession of a credit/debit card.

The investigation led to a second home where police recovered two stolen laptops and a second stolen gun.
