United Supermarkets Donates Socks

United Supermarkets is donating a thousand pairs of socks to the homeless.

The sock donation will be going to the Salvation Army through the Apples and Pears on a Mission Initiative.

Through the fall and winter, for each purchase of Rainer Fruit pears and apples, a portion of the proceeds went to purchasing socks to donate to organizations that support the homeless community.

Five thousand pairs of socks will be donated to charitable organizations in Amarillo, Midland/Odessa, Lubbock, Abilene, and Wichita Falls.
