United Supermarket and Market Street Donating More Than 4,000 Pounds Of Apples To The High Plains Food Bank

In honor of United and Market Street celebrating their 9th year as part of the Take A Bite Out of Hungry program, they will be donating 4,200 pounds of apples to the High Plains Food Bank.

The United Family is one of the original partners of the program and has donated more than 440,000 pounds of apples and feeding more than 100,000 families.

Since Take a Bite out of Hunger was introduced in 2010, more than 1.2 million pounds of fresh apples have been donated to local food banks in the name of the participating retailers with donations going to local food banks across the U.S. and Canada.
