Two Dead SH 335 Crash

A two car crash on SH 335 Friday night left two people dead, just south of Amarillo.

At 11:45 P.M.Twenty-seven-year-old Andres Galvan of Sunland Park, New Mexico, and 48-year-old Michelle Pearson of Amarillo was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say Galvan’s car was traveling northbound on 335 while Pearson’s car was going southbound.

Texas Department of Public Safety officers say Galvan’s car veered into into the southbound lane striking Pearson’s car head-on.

Galvan was wearing a seatbelt, while Pearson was not

The crash still remains under investigation
