Two Arrested Meth Bust

The Stratford police have two men in custody after finding 30 pounds of Methamphetamine after a traffic stop.

The police say they have in custody, 21-year-old Victor Covarrubias Zazueta and passenger 22-year-old Rey Bermudez Zazueta did not give any details about where they were coming from and where they were going to. Officers found that the story the two told them conflicted with each other.

After a probable cause search of the vehicle, they found the meth hidden in a large box. Both are under arrest for the manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.

Officers think the drugs were on their way from California to Kansas.
