Twelve Tascosa High Students Honored at 2nd Annual Military Signing

On Tuesday students and the staff of Tascosa High School gathered for the second annual Military Signing, to honor 12 students who have enlisted in the United States Military.

Parents of the 12 young men and women were also in attendance, giving support to their sons and daughters who are about to embark on a life changing experience.

Senior Naval Science Instructor Major Diego Barela told the students that this was a momentous milestone before administering the Oath of Enlistment.

These students enlisted in the following branches of the U.S. Military.

United States Army:

Braxton Roberts, Aubrey Pickard, Nathan Thomas, Xavier Ordonez, Caleb Kolbek, Ashton Stockard.

United States Marine Corps:

Blanca Arreola, Dakota Pierce, Michael Tomlinson, Izaak Medina.

United States Navy:

Dayne Lamberth.

United States Army National Guard:

Ethan Murphy.
