Astros Give Luhnow Extension And Promotion
(Houston, TX) — Houston Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow has a new job title. Astros owner Jim Crane announced on Monday that Luhnow had agreed to a contract extension and a promotion. In addition to general manager, Luhnow is now also the team’s president of baseball operations. Crane says he created that title just for Luhnow, whose five-year contract extension will keep him on the Astros roster until 2023.
