TTUHSC to Host 3rd “Conquer Kids’ Caner” Event

Students at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center will be hosting a head-shaving event to raise money and awareness to support childhood cancer research.
“Conquer Kids’ Cancer” will take place on May 13th from 10 am to 1 pm at the TTUHSC School of Veterinary Medicine courtyard, located at 7671 Evans Drive.
As part of the event, individuals commit to shaving their heads while family, friends, and more pledge money to witness it.
The money raised will go to the St Baldrick’s Foundation, the largest non-government funder of cancer research grants.
