TTUHSC Set to Receive $32 Million in ARPA Funding

The Texas Tech University Health Science Center announced they will be receiving additional funding courtesy of the American Rescue Plan Act.

The Texas legislature passed a bill allocating $113 million for the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium, $32 million of which is going to the Health Sciences Center.

The money will go towards improved mental health care, expanded services, and an increased mental health workforce.

This is a one-time award and is not a part of the permanent budget.
