TTUHSC Hosting “Power of the Purse” Fundraiser

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health will be hosting its “Power of the Purse” luncheon and auction on April 13th.

The event will begin at 10:30 am in the Amarillo Civic Center Heritage Ballroom and will feature words from advocate and survivor Elizabeth Smart.

There will also be a purse auction featuring pieces from top designers, famous women, and stylish locals who donated their pieces for the evening.

The event has previously raised over $4 million for scientific investigation, medical education, and community programs.
