TTU School of Veterinary Medicine Getting Closer To Opening

The Texas Tech School of Veterinary Medicine is one step closer to opening for its fall Semester of classes.

The project is expected to be on time for the start of this year’s fall semester in August.

The project is expected to be on time and on budget.

Currently, there have already been over 450 applicants for the available 60 seats. Dascanio said they have hired very qualified faculty to teach the courses.

While construction is underway at the main Amarillo building, there is also another facility being built as well.

Dr. John Dascanio, dean of Academic and Student Affairs says the support has been incredible from the Amarillo community.

They currently have 30 faculty but hope to get that number up to 70 soon.
