Now that the Summer vacation season is in full swing the Transportation Security Administration wants to remind people who are going to fly about what not to have in their carry on baggage.
The TSA is offering travel tips on their website at www.tsa.gov or you can go to Twitter and snap a picture of an item you have a question about at “ask TSA”.
The website offers a full list of what is prohibited in your carry on luggage.
A spokesperson for the TSA Carrie Harmon advises that passengers should arrive an hour and a half before the flight and be prepared for the screening. Always check your bags while packing for any illegal items.
TSA has already seen an increase in travelers.
Over the Memorial Day weekend, the administration screened 2.8 million passengers across the country.
