Traffic Stop Leads To Marijuana And THC Wax To Be Seized Near Clarendon.

The Texas Department of Public Safety seized 160 pounds of marijuana and 4 pounds of THC Wax Tuesday after a traffic stop.
Just before 3 pm Tuesday, a Texas Highway Patrol Trooper stopped a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe towing a U-Haul near Clarendon and a DPS Canine alerted the drugs.
The Trooper discovered 13 boxes of vacuum-sealed packages of marijuana and one package of the THC wax inside the trailer.
The driver and passenger were arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana and were booked into the Donley County Jail.
The drugs were being transported from Bakersfield, California to Dallas, Texas.
