Reports: NFL Will Likely Investigate Elliott Vegas Incident

(Undated) — Multiple outlets report commissioner Roger Goodell will likely order an NFL investigation into a Las Vegas incident involving Cowboys Pro Bowl running back Ezekiel Elliott. He was handcuffed by a security guard, but was not arrested. TMZ released video of the confrontation, which showed Elliott shoving security guard Kyle Johnson to the ground at a music festival. Johnson, who is a defensive back at Orange Coast Community College, is speaking out and seeking a sincere apology from Elliott.

Cowboys Focus On Red Zone Offense In OTAs

(Frisco, TX) — The Cowboys are concentrating on improving their red zone offense in volunteer OTAs. Dallas ranked 26th in the NFL in red zone scoring last season. New offensive coordinator Keelen Moore is addressing the concern for more production in the 10 OTA sessions. The Cowboys will have their sixth OTA today, take the weekend off and then have four more scheduled next week.

(Houston, TX) — The Texans will hold their final OTA session today for the week. After a weekend break, Houston will hold four volunteer OTA workouts next week. Houston will begin a three-day mandatory minicamp on June 11th.

Child Taken To Hospital After Hit By Foul Ball

(Houston, TX) — A young girl was struck by a foul ball in the fourth inning at Minute Maid Park at the Cubs-Astros game and was immediately taken to a hospital. She was hit by a line drive off the bat of Cubs outfielder Albert Almora Jr., who fell to his knees near home plate and was in tears. After the game, the Astros released a statement saying the child was hospitalized but issued no details of her condition.
