The High Plains Food Bank Continues To Help Those In Our Community.

The High Plains Food Bank is making sure the Community is taken care of during the changing times.

Since Spring Break, the Food Bank has served over 20,000 dinner meals to students and will continue to do so at 9 different locations and are also working to add meals for college students in the coming weeks.

Not only are they helping the Amarillo community they are working to support all of Texas Panhandle with logistical support and an increasing supply of food while operating seven mobile food pantries.

Taking place Friday May 8th, the food bank will be at Thompson Park in Amarillo with a mobile food pantry.

With donations from the agriculture community, HPFB is donating fresh ground beef, milk, eggs, cheese, and potatoes for 2,000 families.

Families will get one per vehicle on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last.
