The High Plains Food Bank Asking For Donations of Leaves For Compost
The cold weather in our area, will soon make trees drop those leaves all over town.  This year don’t throw them out…donate them to the Garden at High Plains Food Bank.  Dry leaves are excellent to produce balanced compost.  This is the time of year the garden builds up compost piles to use next year. Your leaves can help The Garden grow and distribute healthy organic produce for those in our area.
To donate your bagged leaves, please bring them by the Garden at High Plains Food Bank and drop them off along the fence line (Map below). Our team will take care of the rest.
