The Barfield Hotel Recognized For Their Positive Impact On Local and State Workers

Workforce Solutions Panhandle has announced that The Barfield hotel has been named the 2022 Local Employer of Excellence.

The award recognizes employers in the private sector involved with Texas Workforce Solutions while positively impacting workers, the community, and the state.

The hotel utilized numerous resources provided by Workforce Solutions to hold several in-office and in-person hiring events, leading to a workforce of more than 80 individuals.

Located in downtown Amarillo, the Barfield has been a community staple since it opened in 2021 and is the city’s first luxury boutique hotel.
