The Amarillo V.A Receives Janssen Vaccine

The Amarillo V.A has received the Janssen Covid 19 vaccine and will follow the U.S. Food and Drug Administrations Emergence Use Authorization for the vaccine.
The vaccine is proven 66 per cent effective against moderate to severe Covid 19.
It also has a greater percentage of 85 per cent in preventing severe critical disease against it happening at least 28 days after vaccination.
Veterans who are enrolled and receiving health care via the V.A. are eligible to get the vaccine when their facility has vaccine supply and reaches their risk category
