THC Products Seized In Traffic Stop

The Texas Department of Public Safety continues the battle in the war on drugs.
A routine traffic violation escalated quickly when boxes within a vehicle were found to be carrying 915 pounds of THC-related products.
The stop occurred at 10 AM on Tuesday on Interstate 40 heading east near Vega.
The driver in a 2021 Chevrolet Suburban was arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and is now booked in the Oldham County Jail.
The drugs were seized by Texas DPS and were found to be in transit between Los Angeles, California, and Chicago, Illinois.
