Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Honors Graduates Heading to Military

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center honored multiple graduates who will be joining the military.

Monday, May 23rd, the school held their Military Commissioning and Promotion Ceremony, where students who will serve in the United States Air Force or Army took their oath of office and were promoted to the rank of captain.

Individuals honored include Johnathan Martin, Michael Ramirez, Sarah Bayless, Paul Duggan, Avery Kopacz, Alexandria Murphy and Vivian Yim.

After they complete their four-year residency each will serve as an officer in the US Medical Corps.
