Texas Runs on Water Unveils New Mural in Amarillo

The first water themed mural has been completed on the City of Amarillo Facilities building located at 8th Avenue and Johnson Street by local nonprofit, Blank Spaces.

The project was led by the Officials with the Texas Runs on Water organization, along with the Panhandle Groundwater Conservation District, Blank Spaces as well as the city of Amarillo.

Texas Runs on Water is a first-of-its-kind statewide water campaign which is led by the Texas Water Foundation.

Texas Runs on Water is working to address the state’s growing water supply needs by inspiring all Texans to participate in a viral cultural movement that spurs action and conversation around water.

The PGCD, Texas Runs on Water, and the City of Amarillo invite you to an official showcase of the mural taking place on July 14 at 4pm on 8th and Johnson.
