Texas Panhandle Grass Fires

Area Fire Crew are responding to several different grassfires that have popped up in our area.

Remember to give First Responders room to get to their destination and avoid areas where crews are working.

Skellytown Fire North 207 Fire :

The City of Skellytown by order of the Mayor has ordered the town to evacuate and head to either Pampa or White Deer.

White Deer ISD has their cafeteria open for anyone who needs a place to go.

*Moore County:

Due to Grass Fires in Moore County, Officials have ordered the education of residents Southwest of Dumas between South County Line Road and West Road X.

Hartley County:

Crews are responding to two fires in Hartley County. The first is near County Road R and 385 near Channing 

The second is just south of Channing on US 385.

McCormick Fire:

The Randall County Fire Department is responding to a reported grass fire in the 2300 block of McCormick Road. This fire is under control by Officials.
