Texas Brotherhood Ride Comes Through Amarillo

On September 11th, sometime between 3 p.m and 5 p.m., the Texas Brotherhood Bike Ride will be coming to Amarillo.

The Texas Brotherhood Ride is to honor First Responders who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice serving their community.

They left Houston on September 5th and will arrive in Colorado Springs by September 17, riding 1000 miles in 14 days.

On September 11th, they’ll be riding from Memphis, Texas to Amarillo. The Potter County Sheriff’s Office will escort them from the county line on 287 South and bring them to the Sheriff’s Office where they will be fed a donated supper and sleep for the night.

On Sunday, the Sheriff’s office will fix breakfast for them at 4:30 a.m. and the riders will be on the road by 6:00 a.m.

They’ll be escorted north on Highway 87 to the County line.
