With the development of the city wide broadband plan, Amarillo Connected, the city has a chance to be a part of a milestone plan for the State of Texas.
State Comptroller Glenn Hegar will be visiting twelve different communities across Texas to develop the first ever state-wide broadband plan. Hegar will be here in Amarillo Thursday morning, March 24th at 11 am in the Grand Plaza of the Amarillo Civic Center.
