Texas A&M Looks to Assist in COVID-19 Testing

Texas A&M University says they have the largest public laboratory capacity in the state, but there’s just one problem…those labs are designed to serve animals, not humans.

Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Lab Director Dr. Bruce Akey spoke with David Lovejoy and Shannon Gray on Newsday Amarillo about the push-back Federal Agencies have been giving A&M and how their labs and technicians could be used to help the COVID-19 testing process.
