Texas A&M AgriLife Moves to West Texas A&M University

Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center of Amarillo is moving to West Texas A&M University in Canyon  in 2024.

The press conference at the WTAMU Veterinary Research, Education, and Outreach building on May 25th announced the new plans for the campus.

The new facility will be built on the northeast corner of WT and next to The Charles W. “Doc” Graham building.

Texas AgriLife Extension will cost $30 million and give opportunities for students as well as faculty.

The $30 million dollar project will be designed soon and open as early in 2024.
