Teachers on the Rise Awards March Winners

Teachers on the Rise returns once again to recognize the educators that make a difference in the lives of the kids they teach. 

One of the winners, Breanna Parker, is the orchestra teacher at Amarillo High School and was nominated this month by six of her students.

She and her students were overjoyed that she got honored, and shared what got her into teaching in the first place.

She remarked afterward on her thoughts as to what teaching her students means to her. 

Teachers on the Rise is student nominated and rewards the student and the teacher. 

There will be 2 more months of winners, and at the end of the year, there will be a lunch to once again celebrate every winner throughout the year.
