Teachers Donate 100 Sick Days To Colleague With Sick Baby

A group of Alabama teachers held a “sick day drive” for their fellow colleague whose daughter was diagnosed with cancer. Educators at Mae Jemison High School in Huntsville donated 100 sick days to David Green, whose one-year-old daughter Kinsley has been undergoing chemotherapy since October 2018. The outpouring of support came after Green’s wife posted a plea on Facebook asking for extra days off for her husband so he could join her and Kinsley, who is being treated 100 miles away in Birmingham.
