Suspect Killed In Apparent Home Break-In

What appears to have been a break-in of a home located in the area of North Adams and Northwest 17th Avenue has left one person dead.
Amarillo Police were called to the home just before 5:30 Thursday morning on a call of a person attempting to break into the dwelling by way of forced entry.
They were told the homeowner was armed and had shot the suspect, later identified as 53-year-old Cedric Miligan who died from his wound.
The APD homicide unit is investigating
