Suspect Arrested In Connection Of 15-Year-Old Death

An 18 year old man is in the Randall County Jail after the shooting death of a 15 year old girl last week.

Amarillo Police say Tanner Lee Sims was arrested on Monday for the shooting death of Adrianna Martin last Thursday near the 5500 block of Everett Ave.

The girl was found with a gunshot wound and taken to the hospital, where she died two days later.

Sims is charged with criminally negligent homicide.
