Suspect Arrested After Series Of Car Burglaries

One suspect was held at gunpoint after a series of vehicle robberies in the 1100 block of Broadmoor.

Early Tuesday morning, a homeowner heard his car alarm go off and when he went outside he saw the suspect taking items out of the vehicle.

The man tried to run away but was chased by the homeowner and tackled to the ground.

The homeowner’s wife brought out a gun and gave it to her husband to hold the suspect until police officers could arrive.

Officers took a bag the suspect was carrying into custody and are trying to ID items that belong to different homeowners.
