Summer Fun In Dumas

Dogie Days is in Dumas once again with activities for everyone to enjoy.

The Dumas Noon Lions Club runs the event and donates the proceeds to local charities averaging more than $100,000 yearly.

There is a town barbeque that feeds over 6,000 people, and volunteers do the meat dropping into the fire pit.

The festival runs until the 11th, and wristbands are $25.

There will be a parade prior to the opening at 11 running up Maddox Avenue.

The ticket booth opens during the week at 6 pm, and Saturday at noon right after the parade.
