Internet provider, formerly known as Suddenlink, has settled a lawsuit over customer complaints.
Attorney General Ken Paxton says a pattern of problems included suspect billing practices, Slow internet speed, frequent outages, and poor customer service were among the many complaints leading to the settlement.
CSC Holdings, a subsidiary of Altice has agreed to pay 350 thousand dollars to the State of Texas and provide its customers the services they were promised.
Suddenlink has changed its name to Optimum, and the company will address its deficiencies in it customer service and resolve many of outstanding customer complaints filed from 2016 and March 19 2024
Any complaint filed after March 2024 will not receive any restitution.
