Strong Winds Causing Power Outages Across Panhandle

Numerous power outages across the Texas Panhandle are being blamed on strong winds.
At 8;45 this morning, approximately 1-thousand 673 people were affected by a power outage including Groom, Pampa, Panhandle, Borger, Fritch, and White Deer.;
Xcel Energy says it has no estimated restoration time, but they also say they have increased staffing levels and have put operational plans into place to respond to the outages
