Strip Mall Fire

Amarillo Firefighters started their day early Tuesday morning at a southeast 16th avenue strip mall blaze.

They were called out at 2:46 a.m. to the fire at southeast 16th and Williams.

When they arrived, they found an office area with heavy smoke coming out of an open garage door.

Once inside the garage, they found a car on fire in the work area.

The blaze was extinguished at 3:38, with Afd setting up ventilation fans and helping to clean out water from the work area.

No Injuries are reported.
