Stocks Falling; War Against Short-Sellers Heats Up

Stocks are falling to start the trading day as companies are releasing mixed earnings reports. Today’s a big day for those reports as Apple, Facebook and Tesla are all planning to report their totals after the closing bell. Microsoft is up after blasting expectations with its earnings call, but Boeing is falling after a record net loss in 2020. Meantime, nearly all investors are watching the short-selling battle on Wall Street. Retail investors are now bidding up other companies that have been hit hard by short sellers. In addition to GameStop, which is up huge again today, AMC is up more than 200-percent soon after the opening bell.
