STAAR Exams Showed Issues for Texas Schools

Testing has always been an integral part of learning, but it was reported today that there were some issues with the yearly STAAR test. 

The sections that have been reported affected so far are the grades 4 and 7 Writing, as well as English 1.

The issues have been reported within AISD, Canyon, River Road, and Bushland schools. 

The Texas Education Agency is aware of the problems and released a statement pertaining to the various issues that could be happening.

The TEA is working to solve the issue and is working to ensure it doesn’t happen again come next year when a new system will be used to administer future STARR exams.
