St. Patrick’s Day Shooting

One person is dead and another seriously wounded after a shooting on St. Patrick’s Day.

Authorities say that around 5 a.m. on March 17^th Amarillo Police were called to the 800 block of South Florida Street where a woman was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

It was determined that the suspect Keith Craig had left the scene before officers arrived.

APD was then called to the 2300 block of South West fifth where Craig was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The incident is still under investigation.
