Spring Job Fair to Take Place Next Week

More than 80 employers will be in attendance and ready to find their newest employees with this year’s Amarillo Spring Job Fair on Tuesday, April 11th from 10 am to 2 pm. 

The event, established through a partnership between Workforce Solutions Panhandle and the City of Amarillo, will take place at the Civic Center’s North Exhibit Hall, with a broad spectrum of employers that will be present. 

Some employers attending include Xcel Energy, the City of Amarillo, the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Pantex, BSA Health System, and many more, with both full-time and part-time options available. 

And with the newest “Upskill Texas” initiative with the Texas Workforce Commission, allowing employers to make up to $500,000 in funds to train workers, opportunities to get into the workforce will continue to grow as we get into the summer months.
