Sod Poodles Announce 3-Year Broadcast Deal with Alpha Media USA-Amarillo

The Amarillo Sod Poodles announced they have signed a three-year partnership with Alpha Media USA-Amarillo to broadcast games on the Panhandle Sports Star 102.9 FM.

The Panhandle Sports Star is the area’s only 24/7 dedicated sports radio station, and will now be home to all of the Soddies’ 138 regular-season games as well as any postseason games.

Each broadcast will begin with a short pregame and conclude with a brief postgame show, and fans will be able to stream games on 1029 as well as the Sod Poodles website.

Along with running games, the station will also offer programming to highlight players and coaches to give a more in-depth look at the organization.

The Sod Poodles kick off their season on The Panhandle Sports Star on Thursday, April 6th as they take on the Frisco Roughriders.
