Sister-Bear Foundation Announces 1st Quarter Grant Recipients

The Sister-Bear Foundation has announced its 2023 1st quarter grant awards and recipients.

The first grant totaling $599 goes to Hereford’s David Flores, who lost partial use of his hand in a 2022 accident, to purchase a SaeboFlex splint that will assist in his therapy and allow him to open and close his fingers.

The second, worth $1,500, will go to Brittan Carrier to cover the cost of a seat elevator adapter for his electric wheelchair.

The final $1,750 grant will go to Theresa Rowe of Tucumcari to purchase a wheelchair adapter similar to Mr. Carriers, along with a tray and swing-away joystick.
