The ever-growing list of candidates for Amarillo City Council got even larger as Sherie Wood officially declared her candidacy for Place 2.
Wood has a lengthy list of goals and aspirations she would take care of if she were elected to the position.
The period to file for candidacy ends February 17th at 5 pm, and the election is set for May 6th.
