Several Arrested After Drug Trafficking Arrest

The U.S Attorney of the Northern District of Texas, Erin Neely Cox says eleven alleged drug traffickers have been arrested and charged in Amarillo,

The defendants who allegedly conspired to deal with hundreds of grams of methamphetamine and cocaine were arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 5 in a bust that was led by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Amarillo Resident Office.

During the operation, law enforcement seized more than 25 guns as well as kilogram quantities of drugs and U.S. currency.

The majority of the defendants made their initial appearance Wednesday morning before U.S. Magistrate Judge Lee Ann Reno.
