Senate Vote On Amy Coney Barrett Set For Monday

The Senate will hold its confirmation vote on Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett next week.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says the vote will be held Monday, Oct. 26th – five days after the Judiciary Committee votes to approve the nomination on Thursday.

Republicans almost certainly have the votes to confirm Barrett.  Only one Republican Senator, Maine’s Susan Collins, has said she won’t support the nomination.
