Salvation Army Seeing Decline In 2020 Goal

The Salvation Army’s red kettle drive for this years falling behind its 2020 goal.

Major Ernest Hull says that fewer people shopping in person at stores has resulted in falling behind it’s Signiant kettle goal of 200-thousand dollars.

So far, Hull says they have raised 77-thousand dollars and are praying the community will dig deep in their pockets in the remaining ten days to make sure they can continue to provide help to those who come to them for assistance.

SA officials say they people can take on the Red Kettle Challenge. . The virtual challenge will provide individuals as well as teams to donate to the organization.
