Salamandazeh Trial Could Be Reset For December

The trial of Erfan Salamandazah may be moved to December if both the prosecution and Salamandezah’s legal team can come to terms on the complexities of the case.

He was first indicted in August of 2021 after an explosion on Lenwood Drive. That explosion led to many homes on Lenwood Drive being evacuated.

Other explosives as well bomb making materials and an explosive device was found, that has been alleged to have been linked to Salamandah.

The man is being charged in Amarillo with numerous counts of Making and Possessing an Unregistered Destructive device, and Attempted Use a Weapon of Mass Destruction.

Amarillo Federal Court Documents say the prosecution and the defendant’s legal team is asking the Court to reset the trial date, on or after December 5th
