Regional Infusion Center To Help Covid-19 Patients

Amarillo will have a Regional Infusion Center to help treat Covid -19 patients in the Texas Panhandle.

The State supported infusion center will open to the public, September 23 and will include personnel, equipment supplies, and wrap-around services for the 20 chair center.

It will be located at 808 South Johnson Street, and will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00:p.m. seven days a week and medical professionals will be able to administer a monoclonal antibody treatment to approximately 200 hundred patients a day.

The infusions are for Covid 19 patients who are not yet hospitalized or on oxygen supplements.

The State of Texas through the Texas Division of Emergency Management opened the infusion centers as an additional resource for treating Covid-19.
