Stars Double Up Kings

(Dallas, TX) — John Klingberg scored and assisted on a goal as the Stars doubled up the Kings 4-2 at the American Airlines Center. Blake Comeau and Jason Spezza also lit the lamp for Dallas and Tyler Pitlick added a power play goal in the third period. Ben Bishop turned back 31 shots for the Stars, who snapped a three-game slide to improve to 4-4-and-0. They’ll host the Ducks tomorrow.

TCU Dismisses WR Turpin

(Fort Worth, TX) — The TCU Horned Frogs are moving on from receiver KaVontae Turpin, who has been arrested for assault on a woman. Turpin was arrested Sunday and is accused of dragging a woman across a parking lot and slamming her to the ground. He was arrested on similar charges in New Mexico this spring. Turpin, a senior, has scored five touchdowns for TCU this season.
