Rangers Lose In Extra Innings To Angels

(Anaheim, CA) — Matt Moore yielded a walk-off homer to Jose Briceno in the 11th inning as the Rangers lost 5-4 to the Angels in Anaheim. Elvis Andrus’ pinch RBI-single in the ninth tied it for Texas. Ronald Guzman and Jurickson Profar homered for the Rangers, who have lost six of eight. Yovani Gallardo will start tonight for the Rangers in the second game of this series. Astros Slug Blue Jays

(Toronto, Ontario) — Brian McCann and Josh Reddick nailed back-to-back home runs as the Astros slugged the Blue Jays 5-3 in Toronto. McCann went deep in the second inning and Reddick followed him one at-bat later. Alex Bregman notched an RBI-double. Dallas Keuchel tossed five frames of three-run ball to earn the win.

Rockets Wrap Media Day, Open Training Camp

(Houston, TX) — The Houston Rockets are all done with Media Day and will now get to training camp, which will take place at McNeese State in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Carmelo Anthony spoke to the press yesterday, and stated he chose to join the Rockets for a championship. The Rockets open the preseason a week from today versus the Grizzlies in Birmingham.
